I ran split omnis because they don't pick up as much wind chop, but I would have preferred cards. I also ran with giant windscreens and fur over the windscreens, so I got a nice muffled omni sound on the AUD side, LOL! But, I had no wind chop at all, and many people would have had a ruined recording under these conditions. The good news is since this was matrixed, all I really needed was a little AUD to work with.
