View NotesHi, all. It's Max again, the dude with all the bootlegs. I am so so so sorry that I haven't uploaded anything in forever. As I said, my computer at home has a broken disc drive, so whenever somebody grants me access to their computer, I usually try to seize that opportunity! But hey, maybe staggering the posts makes it more interesting, right? If you recieved them all at once, it wouldn't be as special, maybe? Oh well, here's another bootleg, without further ado! 

This is a bootleg disc called "Sleepless in Boston, '96". Heh, get it? Like the movie? And the song? (disclaimer: I did NOT name it....)

This was recorded at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA on the 15th of October, 1996. Soul Coughing had played a double header at the Boston Garden on the 1st and 2nd of October, opening for "Mr. Dave Matthews and his band" (information courtesy of the online DMB Almanac). They stuck to their more "crowd-pleasing" material (I use the term loosely, seeing as everything this band did was genius....) for the arena shows, and broke out the super-fan-favorites for this show, like a stellar cover of the Circle Jerks' "Shit Hits The Fan" (as made iconic by the movie Repo Man.... you seen it yet, fellow board-prowler Luke from Las Vegas?), and non-album tracks like "16 Horses" and "Wooly Imbibe".
