Source: SBD > TCD-D3 > TC-D5 (no Dolby indicated) taped by Dan Rogosa Transfer: MC (1 MX-S 90; 1 MX-S 100) > Nak Dragon > Tascam DA-3000 (DSF 1-bit/5.6 MHz) > EZ CD Audio Converter > PCM @ 2496 Master: Wavelab 11 (tracking, levels, patch/cross fade, resample, Lin dither) > FLAC 1644 mhg NOTES: --Thanks to Dan for taping and lending his tapes to be digitized and shared --A really terrific recording from a place called the Kenmore Club or Celebration. --The name and venue are somewhat confusing. The building was at 530 Commonwealth Avenue, and upstairs was a club called, at various times, Narcissus, Lucifer, Lipstick and who knows what else. Downstairs was the Kenmore Club or Celebration. Or maybe it was all one place depending on who was playing and what genre was hot that year. The tickets were more like raffle tickets printed with the word "Celebration" than anything specific by band or date. Boston University took over the building around 1993 and it's now a 7-11 / Dunkin Donuts. --Dan also made a DAT, which did not sound as good as the cassettes, that provided patch material for tape flips and also timing to keep the cassette recording on-pitch. --Enjoy! --mhg :: 2024-01-13 vg NOTES (2024-01-16): --BIG Thanks to Dan Rogosa for recording & sharing this Solar Circus 1992 show & to mgoldey for the transfer & sharing it out to the world at large for all of us to enjoy. Absolutely Appreciated & sounds terrific!! --I added the band members info...I may not be 100% on this, just based upon what I could discover online...if anyone has any corrections regarding this info, please chime in. --corrected some of the song titles toward how they appear on the original albums --added more detail to the setlist info --created an md5 checksum file --added the ffp fingerprints to the text file --added some pics of the venue --I left the original text file in here, renamed as 'originalinfo'
