View Notes* = Originally Recorded By David Bowie. + = Originally Recorded By Natalie Imbruglia. # = Originally Recorded By Hole, co-written by Billy Corgan. ^ = Originally Recorded By The Rolling Stones. Recording went well. Please be advised during "Tonight, Tonight" right around the 1:24 mark the right channel was lost due to a bump of the cable. I patched the following 14 minutes with the left channel resulting in a dual-mono. During the end of "Space Oddity" you will hear the stereo sound kick back in. "The World's Fair" was one of the highlights for me, so this bums me out but the dual-mono still sounds pretty damn good. Thankfully, the crowd around me was respectful and did not talk over Billy or the band's performance. I did have to get up a few times to let the couple next to me out. During the final song, "Angie", the entire theatre stood, finding myself directly in line with the right stack (my seat was slightly left of the stack facing the stage), so the sound improved a bit. The vocals especially are more prevalent and up front during the final song of the evening. For anyone questioning if they should attend this tour, go get a ticket right now. It was a wonderful evening hearing the songs stripped down and they were really able to shine on their own. Check out that version of "Rocket"! Wow!!! Enjoy and please share with as many fans as you can. Please go and tape these guys!

View NotesI noticed there were some small dropouts in the left channel a few times. I must have had a loose connection, but nothing major lost though. This was a very mellow show with some pretty interesting adaptations. I always enjoy hearing alternate/acoustic versions of songs. If I want to hear the song as it is on the album, I'll just play the album. Although Space Oddity was a nice homage to Bowie, I was a little disappointed in the number of cover songs played, particularly for the encore. No EQ, just a volume boost. As always support the artists. Go see their shows, buy their albums and merchandise. Tweak as you like. Feel free to make album art or remaster if you wish but do not sell this recording or distribute in lossy formats. Enjoy!
