View NotesOne of the neat things about midside recordings is you can generally dry them up and remove some hall boom if your playback system will allow you to mix channels (and you find it too boomy/bassy). Sometimes while listening to this one, I find myself occasionally mixing the two channels together by 15%. Seems to tighten up the vocals and drums, but leaves the bass and guitar out to the sides a bit more at the cost of minor degradation of the stereo image. I didn't do the mix that way since it's not everyones preference, but its easy enough to accomplish on playback. Read up on midside recording for an explanation as to why this works if you are interested.
