View Notes------------------------ 02 Syndir guðs [removed] 09 Nýja lagið [removed] Notes: This is a stellar early show from the band. I think this version may have been uncirculated, or at least virtually uncirculated until recently. It came about from a thread on the sigur-ros.co.uk forum about this concert. One of the moderators of the site said he had a clean soundboard version of this concert. He was asked to upload it so it could be checked against the hissy FM version thats widely circulated. This is the version we have here. Huge thanks to bjˆssi for unleashing this version! It marks the last appearance by the original drummer Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson, and the first by amiina as the string accompaniment. I had to do some editing of the files I received because there were small gaps at the song transitions and also some big pops and clicks in some songs. There are still a few minor clicks that I could not manage to remove and it is also let down by a few episodes of diginoise. However, these do not last for long and do not detrack from an amazing sounding recording. I have removed the two tracks from this concert which were included on the Svefn-G-Englar ep and it seems this is the same source used for these released tracks. As mentioned above, there does exist a quite well circulated FM version of this which is quite hissy - this is a huge upgrade on that. enjoy, einzack (2008-04-06)
