View NotesThe Rafiki bus pulls into our Nations Capital for a fun night at the Bayou. 
I remember the sound crew actually tried to make me pay them 20 dollars 
or something to Record us. 
  After laughing, I said no thanks and proceded to set up my cassette recorder 
insided my bag, out of the way and recorded anyway, tell me to pay to record Rafiki,I'm the Sound Engineer damn it. And just for good measure, I Recorded Black Uhuru too, just to make sure it worked.
 These guys (the sound crew) were real Morons, at one point during Stream of Consciousness some idiot comes up to the sound board, says to me, "This is supposed to be Reggae." and commences to crank the snare reverb, don't ask me why. After 'POLITELY' wrestling the knob from his fat little grasp, I thanked him for showing me something I already knew, and asked him to stay the #u^% away from me for the rest of the night.
  Black Uhuru's Sound Tech and I laughed about it during the change
over, "If they try that with me ..."

 We always hung out with some good friends from Reston, VA who gave us a floor or couch to crash
on and some really Great hospitality. I hope you guys know about the Internet Archives. Hope to see you
