Absolutely Appreciated & sounds just wonderful!! --I can't really find much info regarding the other acts (besides Max Creek) who played "Camp Creek 2003" nor much info on it at all online. --This was a morning set, first of the day, as is obvious by the way that they are intro'd here in the first track --This was shared out into the community with the date '2003-07-28', but upon discovering that 7/28 of 2003 was a Monday, it became highly suspicious as a festival would not normally continue on into the Monday (that would be the day people are going home, etc.). So, after posing this query to GarcianFishbowl at LL who was at every Camp Creek from 1995-2008, he concurs that Camp Creek never had sets on a Monday & fully agrees with my theory that this set is from the morning of 2003-07-27, which is a Sunday & this totally seems like a Sunday morning set as well (it is indeed the first set of the day, that much we know from the intro). He also notes that Railroad Earth played sets at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival 2003 on both 7/25 & 7/26 & that is only 90 minutes away, so that is easy for the band to shoot up to Mariaville for this Sunday morning set on 7/27. Chris Mrachek also chimed in that the original date could easily be in error as this would not be the first time that he has discovered wrong dates labeled on the Anonymous recordist's DATs. So, it seems pretty obvious that the date is truly 2003-07-27 & all parties involved agree. The only small thing that was still giving me pause is that in 2002, Railroad Earth did this same thing of playing 2 days at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival 2002 (the Friday & Saturday) & then shot up to Camp Creek for a Sunday set (not sure if that was also a morning set or during the day at the 2002 Camp Creek) & 2002-07-28 was indeed a Sunday--but I just heard back from Chris Mrachek stating that there is little to no chance that this could be from 2002 as this Anonymous recordist only had DATs from 2003 festivals & shows...so we gotta believe this is 2003-07-27 as now stated. If anyone out there has any other independent confirmation &/or correction on any of this info, please let us all know. But I think we got this right. --FYI: the date is still going to be incorrect & read 2003-07-28 on the 'cover', 'cover_text' & 'tray' pdfs. Just know that the date on those is wrong. --corrected some song titles toward how they appear on the original albums --added the band members info --added more detail to the venue & location --added pics of the venue --renamed the FLAcs to reflect the new date --created a new ffp checksum file to represent the new date --created an md5 checksum file
