The DAT switch was during the drum segment of Papaya, crossfaded so you won't notice. --Various websites list this performance at the Ogden Theater in Denver, as did the DAT j-card. But during the intro, you can hear the MC say "All right, one more time, let's give a Fox 5th anniversary welcome to...the Radiators!" So, either the venue isn't the Odgen Theater, or the date is totally wrong ... or something. Enjoy! --mhg :: 2022-02-23 vanillag NOTES (4/1/2022): --Thanks to John Adams & mgoldey for this!! --some intel from a friend regarding the fact that this is the Ogden Theatre in Denver & not another (3rd) night at the Fox in Boulder: "I checked the capacity of The Ogden, and it's 1600. I checked the capacity of The Fox, and it's 600. So 2 nights at The Fox (Thu and Fri) and then a big Saturday show at the Ogden could easily make sense -- especially if they had an opening act to boost the numbers?! Especially if they did well enough to earn a NYE show at the venue that same year? (they did play there 12/31/1994) The reason it didn't come up before is that they have The Ogden show as being in Denver, not Boulder -- and SURE ENOUGH The Ogden is in DENVER, not Boulder. That all comes together -- because Boulder's a small town -- easy to get 600 people. Denver's a city -- much easier to get 1600. Also makes sense that there would have been an opener on 1/22 given it's only a 1 set show. Mystery solved." --I addressed the controversy of the intro mentioning the Fox in it with him as well: "The text admits that sites say it's the Ogden as well as the j card in the DATs, but then why the statement from the emcee about the Fox 5th anniversary welcome?? Was that just a regional inside joke or something?? Hmmmmm." -- reply: "Here's what I say to that: The guy who did the intro (almost always Kenny Samuels, their soundguy using his talkback mic) was probably just confused and thought he was still at the same venue from the night before." That makes sense to me & I'm convinced...it would make sense that he was on the road, partying, still in Colorado (maybe even at the same hotel) & just misspoke. Interesting as well that he calls it a 5th Anniversary because I see that the Fox opened in 1992 (that would be 2 years) & the Ogden was built in 1917, closed down in 1990 & then re-opened in 1993 (that would be 1 year). Much confusion from Kenny, obviously. --added the ffp fingerprints to the text file --added the band member info --corrected song title information to their proper song titles where needed --added a picture of the venue
