View NotesBand: Ed Volker - Keyboards, Vocals Dave Malone - Guitar, Vocals Camile Baudoin - Guitar, Vocals Reggie Scanlan - Bass Frank Bua - Drums Glenn Sears - Percussion, Vocals Notes: - found this as a filler on one of TB's tapes (all there was) - left channel had no signal, mixed to mono - "Movie Music" cuts off - "Slow Down" cuts in - the date might be wrong: Dave greets the audience after "Down The Road..." by saying "...we'll be here again tomorrow night...". etree lists 3 shows from Lee's Tomb 1986: Jan 9, 10; 11 (no show on the 12th or later). This might be either from the 9th or the 10th. - thanks always to TB for the tapes vg NOTES (2026-01-29): --regarding the date, I'm going with 1986-01-10 for the following investigated reasonings: --------etree lists the 1986-01-09 show as an 'FM broadcast' & these files almost assuredly are sbd sourced & do not contain the compression that you would find on an fm broadcast...now, I realize that it easily could have been recorded from the sbd prior to the broadcast (pre-fm), but when combined with the other reasons below, I still say that 1986-01-10 makes the most logical sense --------before "Driller Killer", they say, "uh, we were kinda, we were here earlier today...& we made up this psychotic instrumental thing..." - that totally screams very strong evidence of a band in the middle of a residency coming in during the afternoon & just having fun at a rehearsal working something new out & not a band arriving on the first day of the run where they would be getting there & checking & then doing the show & not all settled in enough to be fully relaxed & coming up with new material (i.e.the 2nd day of the run was more a rehearsal than a soundcheck as all the sound issues were dialed in from the 1st night of the run)...also, saying we were here earlier just sounds like someone casually already being there for a day & not something where they would say 'we got here/arrived earlier today' & so forth (like one would if it was their 1st night, etc.) --------after "Down The Road I Go", they say, "Good night everybody, we'll be back here again tomorrow night...for the rest!! Thank you very much!!" - this again points to the fact that the next night they will be finishing up the 3-night run ('for the rest')...if it was the 1st night, they would more than likely say something along the lines of '...we'll be back here the next 2 nights, come on back' or the like, ya feel me?? --------setlist.fm has a listing for the Radiators playing on 1986-01-12 at Ruby's Rendevous, Mandeville, LA with a full setlist listed for it...ya can't always trust setlist.fm on everything as they are not always 1000% accurate, but I'd say that's probably correct in this case when measured with all the other evidence at etree & so on --if anyone out there knows the date for sure & can prove otherwise on any of this, please chime in & let us all know
