View NotesEncore was unplugged and a total surprise, had to raise the gain at the beginning, but it was an amazing moment, maybe 50 folks left and all of us were singing, not pretty technically but a beautiful moment. This was PMW's "Darkside of the Moonshine" CD Release Party. And they released it, themselves and all the folks in the audience! From http://www.poormanswhiskey.com Mystic Theater Magic!: It's always a treat for the band to play at the legendary Mystic Theater in Petaluma. Saturday night was no exception. PMW kicked off the night with their traditional jam outside. Brothers Comatose then finished warming the crowd with their bearded brand of bluegrass...we love these guys! The evenings two sets of music saw PMW breaking out of the mold and moving forward quickly after a long but successful 1/2 year of recording. Album sales were slamming and the band turned it up a notch, bringing out old songs like Sonoma Mandolina and new covers like Phish's Get Back on the Train and a super fun to play Whiskey Creek>Shakedown Street jam>Franklins Tower jam>Whiskey Creek. With the addition of special guests on fiddle and saxphone the night was cookin' early on.
