Outro/Crowd Notes: So I woke up the morning of this sold-out show a 7 hour drive away in Orlando with no ticket and nobody to ride with. After loading up my taping gear and a small bag, I took off Sunday morning for ATL. After a pit stop at Sweetwater Brewing for a 420 fresh from the tap, I pulled up to the parking lot and finally got a space in the shuttle lot. A couple of trips up and down Shakedown with a finger in the air netted me nothing, so I decided to head towards the box office. Five minutes after politely declining an offer of a ticket for $175, a group asked me if I was looking for a ticket because the guy behind them had one. Lo and behold I got a PTBM pit ticket for face value and headed right in. [Many thanks to the guy who sold me that ticket!!!] No problems with security after telling them I had strictly audio gear in my bag despite not having a taper ticket. Since I wasn't sure where my ticket would be when I got there, I brought my undercover set of mics figuring I would just record whatever I could and not worry about a stand, clamps, etc. I found a spot almost dead center of the floor, front to back and left to right. By the time the first set started, I had been displaced about 8' right and 5' back from true center, but was still in good positioning. Setbreak let me get a little closer to dead center so I was only a couple of feet off. As a result of being on the floor with hat-mounted mics, the music is very much to the front, but so is the talking. You'll hear conversations of and clapping from the people around me; sometimes silly questions or comments were directed to me. At one point during Bathtub Gin, a glowstick hit my left mic; I left it on the recording. What you hear on tape is what I heard at the show. Enjoy...I know I did!
