View NotesAt some point late in the second set, the mic stand had to be lowered to attach an umbrella. Though I can't pinpoint the time now, you might notice the noise of that movement.

View Notes%Rain threatened. In d3t03, at 5:28 I spazzed out yanked my mics. Remainder of show patched with Jeff Frank's AKG source. I raised his levels (+5db) in Wavelab to match the levels in my source. For the record, rain did not threaten again. I totally flaked out, my only mistake from the festival. You live and you learn. (However, coming home with one partial source when there were multiple other sources may be better than coming home with rain-fried mics.)

Edit: As I check this in, I notice I did not properly rename the patch tracks i got from jeffs source. i hope this doesnt cause any issues...

View NotesNOTE: When it began to rain, I put my gear inside of a large trash bag. I had it covered up. My lights were not visible and in the span of about 12 minutes, I lost power to my V2 at the conclusion of Unbroken Chain. Most of New Speedway Boogie is missing. Several folks contacted me for my recording. I really did not want to put this up. It sounds very good except I have a flaw due to what happened. I was hoping one of the tapers would have theirs up by now. So, until a complete source appears, here is mine. I plan on splicing in Ian's source as he also ran next to me with his Schoeps. If you do not want an incomplete recording, WAIT for someone to upload theirs. I just wanted to give folks a fair warning.
