Wavmerge was used to reassemble the tracks back to 1 long wave. CEP2.0 was used to align & synch both sources. SF8.0 was used for the EQ setting pre mixdown. This is a 60% SBD, 40% AUD mix. - Mixed by [email protected] - FLAC conversion done 14-NOV-2007 - Artwork at 300dpi by [email protected] - For best results print at the highest resolution onto glossy photo paper. Design for use in a clear single jewel case. --------------------------------------------------------- Multitrack Mixdown Settings Stereo Matrix SBD -3db AUD -5db --------------------------------------------------------- Notes Pretty much flawless sources here. Editing and synching in comparison to most projects was a breeze this time. SBD had overlapping material at the CD2 - CD3 change. This was removed and made seemless. SBD had strange "pops" or "spikes" on the louder Phil notes. Although this was not severe I found them discrating. I ran a declicker and pop elimintaion filter and it did a great job at smoothing/removing these without effecting the music or introducing any artifacts. Program ran almost 2 hours. --------------------------------------------------------- Editorial Comments This show is both a tribute to playing at Woodstock and to the anniversary of the death of Jerry Garcia. Phil-n-Friends plays the exact same setlist as the famous Woodstock appearance by the Grateful Dead on 8/16/69. WoodStock 1969 - REVISITED I think it is a spirited effort at the remake of the '69 magic. Albiet nobody was getting electricuted. The preformance is more "jammy" than psychedelic but from the opening notes of St Stephen you'll her some great musicianship. While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio-CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and rise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analogue audio outputs of your CD/DVD player. Burning Instructions Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any normal Audio-CD from FLAC files. --------------------------------------------------------- Additional Formats This show is available in the following formats: 1.
