View NotesIn perfect honesty, this recording is notable less for the music — although we did churn up some heady musical synergy throughout the evening — than for the ridiculous subject matter and foul-mouthed frivolity of the banter, a good summation of the joyous mood at the annual Pears Garlicfest. The jam session took place following the official cooking competition/picnic, back at the estate of Pears The Garlic King. Subject matter includes — but is not limited to — 'Brokeback Mountain,' whether I am in fact an empathetic kisser at best, the Garlic King requesting that we sing "a shire song," and... garlic anal beads.
