**EARLY & LATE SHOWS** note: The master tape suffered from tremendous recording level fluctuations, such that it proved less distracting for the listener to apply periodic corrections to these fluctuations via normalizing in Sound Forge (so much so that it merits noting here). Evidence of this can be heard in variations to the noise floor (hiss). But this seemed a lesser evil to the editor (me) than for the listener to be running for the volume knob at odd moments throughout the recording. This show is well worth it, regardless of tape issues, simply because there is very little to nothing else available for on-line downloading from this great time frame in the band's musical history.
