Soundboard + lip of stage mic matrix
Lineage:
Neumann TLM-170 (omnis, split at the corners of the stage) + SBD matrix -> Behringer Eurorack MX602A mixer -> Sound Devices 722 (@24/96); FLAC File processing in SoundForge 10.0c (volume normalization; resample to 44.1 with iZotope 64-Bit SRC set higher than "Highest Quality" setting w/anti-alias filter; 24->16 bit dither using iZotope MBIT+ Dither with Ultra noise shaping, High dither settings); Tracked in CDWav.
Taper Notes:
View NotesNotes: For some unexplained reason, the soundboard feed cuts out 3:11 into track 2 (1st song) and then just as mysteriously comes back at the beginning of track 6, so there are 3 songs that are just split omnis onstage. They are listenable (especially once the sound engineer gets some vocal monitors loud enough onstage), but don't sound nearly as good as the parts of the show that DO have the soundboard mixed in. I have matched the volume levels of this section with the rest of the show and the transition is clean. Nate Wilson Group and BuzzUniverse opened for Bonerama with special guests Steve Kimock and Kyle Hollingsworth Recorded, Mastered, and Tracked by Scott Bernstein. Thanks to Victor Cornette at Sullivan Hall for all of his help!
