Juni 2018 Cowperplatz Minimax-master-series #962 Master - Audience recording Taping-location: second row, left side Sound-quality: excellent Equipment: Zoom H4N with Sound professional microphones SP-CMC-8 concert-info: last time I saw this band I thought: if you'll ever gonna see 'em again you have to stand at the back of the field or so... Far too loud, ain't they? And so I did: entering the place I found me a good spotting and recording place in the back, means: the second row. Later in the front row... This time their music and performance fitted nearly perfect on this location having the stage in front and the old steel-work behind 'em / playing and seeing the audience in the front and the old steel work in the back. Wonderful! Mogwai did what a Mogwai has to do: play loud and louder and ear-bursting loudest. And they came on two or three minutes too late 'cause they all watched the final minutes of the football-world cup-game between Germany and Sweden – and all of 'em and the road-crew yelled when the germans did it in the last second of that game – all beside the stage-area. Once again it has to be told: this is probably the best open air-location in the world! no artwork anymore because no one needs them anymore or noone says a little thanks for the artwork ticket-Price: about 75,- € for all 3 days catering: beer, a crêpe with cheese, honey and walnuts, some thai-food weather: some sunny spells, more the english way of hot temperatures (18°C) parking-costs: ./. location: a festival in between an old steel-work - with four different stages the festival: taking place in the Worlds best ever location at all - go, ask the musicians who played there!
