View Notesnotes: * Rob lead vocals (first time) # entire band playing iPads between sets my microphone cables were walked through, and developed a buzz in the right channel of the Busman source due to a poor XLR connection. Due to this, some of the Busman source for set 2 is mixed to mostly left channel, giving it an almost mono feel. Nakamichi source is not effected, and provides stereo recording during entire set.

Thanks, dude who just wouldn't move away from my mics (even though I asked him very politely), as that was absolutely mind-numbing tracking all of those claps and removing them from an otherwise-pristine recording! * - w/each member of the band performed their part of this song on their own individual iPad ^ = Strangers in the Night jam at 4:33 Recorded, mastered, tracked, and posted by Scott Bernstein There is a higher quality 24 bit recording of this show available at <a href="http://www.archive.org/details/moe2011-09-03.tlm170.flac24" rel="ugc nofollow">http://www.archive.org/details/moe2011-09-03.tlm170.flac24</a> Check out the photo album that I posted from moe.down, including some good shots of moe.: <table style="width:194px;"><tr><td align="center" style="height:194px;"><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/scotthbernstein/MoeDownXII20110902To20110904?authuser=0&feat=embedwebsite" rel="ugc nofollow"><img src="//web.archive.org/web/2im_/https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-kSBOy2hDfGE/Ty86I9arfjE/AAAAAAAAq4M/abU_rGYx5uc/s160-c/MoeDownXII20110902To20110904.jpg" width="160" height="160" style="margin:1px 0 0 4px;" alt="MoeDownXII20110902To20110904.jpg" /></a></td></tr><tr><td style="text-align:center;font-family:arial, sans-serif;font-size:11px;"><a href="https://picasaweb.google.com/scotthbernstein/MoeDownXII20110902To20110904?authuser=0&feat=embedwebsite" style="color:#4D4D4D;font-weight:bold;text-decoration:none;" rel="ugc nofollow">moe.down XII 2011-09-02 to 2011-09-04</a></td></tr></table> Follow me on Twitter to track my near-daily postings of FREE live music and concert photography: <a href="http://www.twitter.com/scott_bernstein" rel="ugc nofollow">http://www.twitter.com/scott_bernstein</a> Or become a fan on Facebook here: <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scott-Bernsteins-Live-Music-Photos-Page/166706713365451" rel="ugc nofollow">https://www.facebook.com/pages/Scott-Bernsteins-Live-Music-</a>

View NotesOk, here goes: First off, hat's off to moe., they killed all weekend, and especially in the second night set. What imagination, audacity and musicianship. As always, moe.down is about the people, the long time and new friends, coming together to share our love of this band, to renew it, or discover it. This year was no exception. Jason and Steve, damn good job, often under extreme conditions. Jason, loved the way you used the trees as a backdrop, and great to meet your dad. And the Heros, what a great weekend of fellowship and sharing. Props to Doug, Becca, and, of course Mikey. Georgie, you are a star! James, great seeing you, likewise Scottie. New Hero Steve, welcome, and the rest of the gang, too. Thanks, too, to our neighbors, the Yodeladies, what an amazing bunch, too many to mention, but have to give a shout out to Andrea, who gave me the most amazing hug. Grateful for all the tapirs, who all pitched in and pulled it off again. All in all, another fantastice weekend, it flew by as always. See all y'all next year!
