View NotesWell, all good things have to come to an end, and this Japan tour is no exception. Not with a whimper, but with a bang! A fine ending to a fantastic time. I am so grateful for this opportunity. Thanks to Smash for hooking up my tickets (and the tour, too). Thanks to all the Japanese tapirs for the wonderful warmth, which also goes for the Japanese.rons, all of whom were kind beyond words. Jason, thanks again, you are the bomb, 4 shows, 4 different and new venues, and tonight was another great job. Amazing contrasts, again matching the timbre of the songs, and the mood of the band. Hodge, Alex, Gavin and Brendon ("from California"), great touring with you guys, same to Bill and James. Matt and Melissa, great meeting you both. To the Osaka moe.fan I met on the train, hope you enjoy this, thanks for pointing me in the right direction at Yokohama station, I obviously made it back okayalright. Okay, a couple technical notes, first I thought I heard Tubing the River Styx between Skrunk and the Pit (maybe its just Khalil's incessant noodging), so I put it on the list above, but its not on the setlist, so not tracked out. Second, while wonderfully accommodating to the tapirs all tour, we did get stuck in the back under a low-ish ceiling, so the sound is what it is.
