Lineage:
B&K4021s -> Sound Devices 722 (@24/96); FLAC File processing in SoundForge 10.0c (minor volume normalization to compensate for level raise a few minutes into the show; some wind noise removal and some loud clap removal); Tracked in CDWav.
Taper Notes:
View NotesShow was all acoustic except Rob's electric bass. ** - with Lucas Goodman (age 6) strumming on al.'s guitar while al. fretted for part of Mexico and Eric Joseph (a fan from south Buffalo) takes a bass solo near the end ^ = a sample of what it would sound like if they tried to play it without knowing the song # - Last Time Played: 2/27/10 ## - Last Time Played: 3/02/05 % - Last Time Played: 1/10/07 (though Disgrace recently did it on their tour) I did some loud clap removal in the beginning of Tambourine. You can still hear somebody clapping loudly near the mics, but I removed the "worst offending" loud claps. I removed a couple of LOUD bursts of wind at (2:10) into Faker, 3 in the Q&A, and a couple in the intro to and during TCT (depending on the severity, sometimes the "Click & Pop removal" in Sound Forge mostly removed the wind, and others it required an additional Low Frequency Shelf in the Parametric EQ.) They should be mostly inaudible at this point. Recorded by Eric Vandercar, who came out of virtual taper retirement to record this for you folks. Mastered and tracked by Scott Bernstein. This is a 24 bit recording, not intended for CD burning. There is a CD quality version of this show with MP3s and streaming available at: http://www.archive.org/details/moe2011-01-05.bk4021.flac16
