If you are a Mike Doughty fan this is definitely a show you want to download. Check out "Madeline And Nine" and "Rising Sign" if you want to sample the quality of the recording. Mike Doughty always puts in a great performance when he visits "The Nashdiggity" - and this show was simply awesome! The tour was billed as "The Question Jar Tour" in which audience members put questions in a jar and Mike answered them throughout the performance. As you can imagine this prompted some interesting topics of conversation and a lot of humorous dialog. During this particular show there was an extremely wasted fellow who became know as "Ecstasy Guy." He survived up until "Looking At The World From A Bottom Of A Well" before the waitress threw him out. You can hear the applause as the audience erupts with approval at about 36 seconds into the song. The first hour was broadcast on WRLT FM radio - so, Mike was on his good behavior until they went off the air. Once off the radio Mike responded with a humorous barrage of "Fuck's and Shit's" and the second half of the show was more relaxed and everyone had a really good time. Enjoy the recording and continue to share the gift of music.
