Nak700 Post NOTES (Only post processing noted below was applied to this material.) Transfer to digital into Adobe Audition at 32bit/48kHz Editing done in 32bit/48kHz realm: ---------------------------------------------------------------- - Mastering - small hints of reverb, tube style excitation and loudness maximization. Field widening 45% - Fades - IN/out of set(s) Resample/dithered to 16bit/44.1kHz ---------------------------------------------------------------- Random Notes: Thanks to G.S. on the traps for making this recording possible. * Listen for taper's homage to Dick Dale at end of track... ** Last track could be skipped to alow burn to CDr (1) IMNSHO, it's still "The Brick"... go ahead google that. Forgive this personal rant, related here mainly to remind me never to return... (2) With more than two hours before the show (MHB) we learned that the entire third floor area was closed, effectively religating taping to DFC/FOB and active blocking or ROC stack taping and passive blocking. Having skipped the opener and the crowd still (surprisingly) thin, we three decided to get active for the rest of the night. We find the pocket DFC, raise our sails and await the launch, some 20 out. Five minutes before they take the stage a friendly security man comes to tell us that we have to leave DFC for "one side or the other." We choose the furthest back ROC column and roll. This seemed to be the pinch point for all floor traffic on this side which turned it into an active blocking gig. (3) Second set we moved up and joined the other rig one column closer to the stack, and left the active blocking behind. All things considered, a stack tape was the smart move on this date. YMMV
