View NotesMick Thomas, Squeezebox Wally & Bedge- Song Bingo night 1 Caravan Music Club, Oakleigh, 12-11-2011 Line up: Mick, ex Weddings, Parties, Anything (WPA)- Acoustic guitar, vocals Mark Wallace- Keys, Squeezebox, vocals John Bedgeman- fiddle, mandolin, vocals The second Song Bingo request night for MT. Suffice to say, I was a little disappointed with the first night- only in that more lesser played songs weren't requested (and that my number didn't come up !). Having said that, the set list was fantastic in its own right and the acoustic versions with Wally were memorable. I was hoping the second night had some rarer tracks and I wasn't disappointed- however you should have seen the reaction for the first request on night 2! Didn't get called out AGAIN, but my first choice was pickedÉ.what would you have picked ??????? I'd rate this ~ 9 /10 for an audience taping. More clipping than night 1 as the overall volume of the gig was louder, but only in the very loud songs and doesn't detract too much, to me anyhow. Mick seemed to get into this night more, possibly because of the earlier rarer requests and this comes out in his singing. Song list: withheld for effect I have set the tracks up so that odd numbers are the music tracks, so after a first listen to hear how it unfolded, you may choose to delete the even tracks for repeated listening as the bingo part took some time each spin.
