I've never played with clipping, but I was surprised at how well Audacity reduced the clipping with no noticable deterioration in listening pleasure. The final result is bloody good. There is some clipping still evident in the last few seconds of "almost Saturday Night" when Anna Burley belts out the last few notes. Similar to the prior gig from 24th May 2009 (Anna Burley again adds a real dimension to many songs), but one new song (Come Dancing) which I have never heard before from Mick and Jen Anderson adds some fiddle to some tracks (though she had technical difficulties for Short time). A real good feel to this one and well worth a lsiten if you've read this far. The Greendale Hotel is how it should be. Small country pub, locals in the front bar wondering what all the fuss is about & why their back room is full of town folk, BBQ out the front, kids dancing in front of the band, band doing what they do best....Mick in his element....
