View Notes*** This is a 24bit file set *** There was a significant downward gain adjustment on the master cassette between 10:20 and 10:30 of set one. To compensate for this, the amplitute between 0:00 - 10:20 was adjusted by -4 db. Another adjustment was made for a linear fade from -4 db to 0 db from 10:20 to 10:30. Tape flips occured between Mystery Train and Just A Rose (set 1) and If You Ask Me and In The Midnight Hour (set 2). No music was lost due to the tape flips. The cassette tapes show their age being 26 year old cassettes that were not always stored properly and were recorded with mid-level equiptment. I feel I have done my best to preserve the original fidelity with the best possible transfer, to the digital medium, that my budget allowed. Any one is free to 'remaster' this recording as they see fit, including the creation of releases in 16bit format. If anyone would like to make their own pass, I am happy to donate the original analog source tapes to the cause.
