View NotesMatt Poirier (Solo Acoustic) with Guest Mary Fagan * Includes 'Tommy the Cat' & 'Riverside' jams ** With Mary Fagan (Guitar & Vocals) Setlist from: http://mattpoirier.com/ ***** This show was Matt's last performance at the Green Martini before she burned down a month later. The Martini had been a regular gig for Matt since 2005. Sunday, February 11, 2012 An early morning fire broke out and destroyed the Green Martini Restaurant and Lounge. The Martini was Concord's premier host for live music for nearly ten years. It was owned and operated by Stephanie Rossman in 2003 when local musician Duane D'Agnese started performing there. Duane is also a CPA and Stephanie was one of his clients. In October, 2004, Duane bought 51% of the business. He renovated the restaurant side and renamed it The Arizona Restaurant, introducing a southwestern motif and menu, and expanded live music to four nights a week. A year later Duane became sole owner. The present owner, Paul Faella bought it in November, 2006. The menu changed, but the music continued. Through all these years, the Green Martini opened its doors to musicians of all types. The open mic hosted by Steve Naylor on Wednesday and Thursday nights provided "first time" stage experience for so many local singers and bands. It was a musical melting pot for ideas and talent, and it will be missed by musicians and audience alike. We all hope that the building can be salvaged, and the Green Martini will reopen. Stay tuned, Concord. - via www.greenmartinilounge.com/
