View Notesthis was my first ever recording. It turned out pretty good I think, except that I had set the recording levels set too low (-50dB), and didn't want to mess with the levels while I was already recording. So you will have to turn up your speakers way high for this one. The first few seconds are missing, since I was a bit late, coming back from Krakow. This night was sort of a mini festival with five bands playing in two halls: 19:20 Vinz (Club), 19:55 Death Vessel (Main Hall), 20:30 Krakow (Club), 21:10 Low (Main Hall), 22:30 Whip (Timesbold) (Club). I didn't tape any of the other acts, now I kind of regret that I didn't record Krakow as they were pretty good, even bought their CD. Didn't see Death Vessel (watched for one song, decided I preferred a cigarette outside, and I will be seeing him three more times anyway) and I skipped Whip also.
The Main Hall looked quite beautiful. They had closed down the balcony with curtains and little lights in them which made it look like a starry sky.
There were two false starts, Alan playing the wrong notes during Murderer and either Mimi or Alan singing the wrong words during Amazing Grace.
