AUD cassette master (Radio Shack CTR-96 dictaphone)

I recorded this concert on my little Radio Shack CTR-96 dictaphone, which sounds a lot better than you'd expect -- it's got a built-in limiter, so it can handle some pretty high decibel levels (at the price of compressing the dynamics). The sound quality isn't fantastic, but it's not bad at all, and treatment with the MaxxBass plug-in brought out the dormant low end to great effect. I don't remember when I originally transferred this tape to CD, but my data backups went bad, so I've re-extracted from an audio copy. If anyone REALLY wants a copy without the MaxxBass, let me know and I'll think about a re-transfer. Maybe the bass is a little too heavy now, but I kind of like it! Is this show the debut of the "Retribution Gospel Choir" moniker? Here it's being used to refer to Ida, who join Low for the opening track, "Lord Can You Hear Me?". In any event, it was a good show, unfortunately cut short by curfew. Enjoy a beautiful "Two-Step" and a rare "Born by the Wires". There are at least two other tapes of this show -- an audience cassette of similar quality, made by Michael H., and a DAT recording made by the Middle East's soundman, Y-Mike. Neither are in circulation as far as I know.
