View NotesDespite some technical problems with buzzing amps and squeals of feedback, this is an enjoyable and spirited set played for a quiet audience. It features the only recorded performance we have of "Hands", played by request. Other seldom-heard songs include "David and Jude", "Prisoner", and "Stars Gone Out". While by no means hi-fi, this recording is really quite decent. Though there's occasional crackle from peak distortion, the taper was well-placed and got a pretty good stereo image -- and besides the buzz, the sound in the room was clearly good. There's also a tape cut near the end of "Prisoner", after which azimuth problems (high frequencies swooshing in and out) show up until the end of "Stars Gone Out". I'm guessing that's not on the master, but happened at some point when the tape was copied.
