Taping at Subterranean can always be tricky. It's literally a small hot box
with people elbow to elbow. On top of that, for this particular show, a bunch
of idiots decided to mosh for the entire set. Even during the quiet parts!? 
(Listen to the beginning of "The One With Kid"). Yeah, I know. Fearing the 
worst prior to showtime, I gaffe taped my mic stand against the soundbooth 
wall as well as to the floor. I then placed my gear in the soundboard area 
where it would be safe. All went well, but, the sound is never the best in 
there. I did the best I could & even brought the cards over the omni's! The 
good news is that this DOES sound better than it did on the floor. I omitted
the encore break of the loud guitar distortion for 5 minutes before HFMF. 

This year's show was under a Superhero theme. Scott and Ryan came to the stage 
dressed as Batman and Robin and started the set with some great covers prior to
the countdown. Gabe was dressed as the Penguin, Mike Grogan as The Riddler.
