Eagle eyes will notice that Mercenary Territory and Sailin' Shoes are omitted. The latter was played during one of the Craig Fuller & Friends opening sets. According to Featseeker, who spoke to Paul at the New Year's Eve show, Mercenary Territory has a tricky time signature and without rehearsal it would've been tough for Gabe Ford to pick up. The good news is there are additions: Skin It Back and the blues tune Long Distance Call in its now customary spot mid-Apolitical Blues. Not to mention the scorching encore Day At The Dog Races! As Paul says, it was included on the WFC Anniversary release. You sticklers out there will just have to live with it. While all the classics mostly missing from the first three Jamaica shows are here, the guests add a Featcampish '12 flavor. Violins on Fat Man, Dixie Chicken and others, mandolins on everything. Before Willin' Paul calls the "Negril Mandolin Chorus" to the stage: Fred, Sam Bush and Drew Emmitt (I think it is) from Leftover Salmon. More jammers means more jams which means longer versions which means it comes within 25 seconds of needing a third disc. It's awfully hard to top the preceding Random Element Night, but this is an epic all its own. Soundboard recordings of all four Jamaica shows are now available for sale at livefeat.com
