Paul mentions that Heaven Forsaken is his response to the nonevent – and what a terrific song it is! Marginal Creatures (another Featroller favorite) is also topical, and I heartily thank the now discredited doomsayer for causing both those songs to be played. Other highlights include a smoking Down on the Farm and especially a fun Dixieland trumpet-fest intro for Dixie Chicken. As DC comes to a full-throttle, showstopping end, the band throws a surprise: instead of walking offstage, they wait for Billy to launch into Tripe Face. Oh to have been in that crowd and have my socks knocked off! The Chris & Alex Dynamic Duo ensures very fine sound quality, marred only by some moronic blabbermouths yakking during the quiet sections. All in all, an excellent show, not to mention a splendid alternative to Armageddon.
