- Featroller comment: the band was so delighted with the enthusiastic crowd at this Woodstock-area show that they
played a two hour and 37 minute extravaganza. Rag Mama Rag is dedicated to Levon Helm, who lived nearby but had
a gig that night. That's followed by a 35 minute Dixie chicken with guest vocalist Laurel Masse singing a jazzy
skat accompanied by Fred's trumpet. And that's only part of the extended DC intro. I'm pretty sure they've never
done it that way before or since. Top it off with a blazing Let It Roll and as Lowell once said, that's rock
