View NotesFeatroller comment: another crispy 95 SBD emerges from the vault. This one is notable for the rarely performed All That You Can Stand. It's a swampy, spooky New Orleans-esque tune that sounds a little like the Neville Brothers… but not too much, because most Feat songs are so unique they don't sound much like anything else. This version is the first I can recall that has a bass solo at the end – the perfect song for Kenny to do his thing. This was long before bass solos showed up mid-Dixie Chicken and Kenny makes the best of it, with Richie and Sam giving him a groove. A treat for fans of the then-new Ain't Had Enough Fun album, also represented here with better-known tunes like Romance Without Finance and Cadillac Hotel. Now if only they would have played Blue Jean Blues… but that would be asking too much. Thanks to Chris as always and Featseeker for the original upload at dimeadozen.org.

A really fun session minus the rhythm section – Paul calls them "The Four Toes." I haven't heard any of these tunes in this format except Hate to Lose. Romance Without Finance and a huge personal favorite Blue Jean Blues are revelations: you can really hear Billy's keyboards coming through. And Cajun Rage flat out rocks. Interviews are brief and amusing, with Paul in full comedian mode. Sound quality is as good as it gets for this kind of recording. Rob Berger did the original upload at dimeadozen.org.
