View NotesTo celebrate the 20th anniversary, Failure embarked on a short 19 date tour performing their seminal 1996 classic, "Fantastic Planet" front to back in its entirety. Failure are now in their 3rd year back since reforming and have already released a stellar new record, "The Heart Is A Monster". Since they are focusing on FP for this tour, only one song from THIAM made the setlist - featured in the encore. The Pyramid Scheme's capacity is a mere 425 and this (not surprisingly) sold out months in advance. Regarding the recording, the crowd was very respectful and the screaming and cheering were kept to a minimum around me. I was very close to the left speaker and held my head still for the hour and a half trying to get the best possible recording. I am very pleased with the results and this may be, in fact, my favorite recording I've made all year. Huge props to Failure's live sound engineer and the head of house at The Pyramid Scheme.
