View NotesFound out about this show the day before it happened, apparently they added this date in between DC and Atlanta a while back but it wasn't well advertised? Called up taping buddy Neognosis and we made plans to meet up as Asheville is exactly between the two of us with each of us only driving 2 hours. Doors opened at 8 and there were maybe 15 people there. By the time the show started at 9:15, the venue was about 2/3 full. We both stood on the left side about 10' away from the stacks by ourselves most of the night as it was too loud for anyone else that happened to try and stand near us. Recording turned out awesome as a result. Levels were a little hot until I adjusted them down about 0:45 into Another Space Song. I'd forgotten how much fun it was to tape a show standing FOS. Neognosis went out to the LA reunion show back a couple months ago, commented that the band sounded much tighter. Guess that comes with practice. Typical show from this tour, opening video, hour long set, 15 minute intermission, another hour long set. I taped most of the intro video and the 15 minute intermission. I cut the video audio out for potential copyright reasons, added fades, cut most of the 15 minute intermission out, and raised up the volume some; no other editing was done.
