Karl Denson - sax, flute, vocals Carlos Washington - trumpet, backing vocals Chris Stillwell - bass Brian Jordan - guitar David Veith - Rhodes Craig Dawson - drums I was working at this show, it was a party thrown by a fraternity in the courtyard outside their place. They hired KDTU to play last of maybe 3 bands on a cold windy afternoon. I was not familiar with KDTU at the time, so this has always been one of THOSE shows for me. I was hooked within the first few minutes! Dave(?) the taper asked for a board patch, I got permission from the band, & we plugged him in - I made sure to get his info so I could get a copy... Slightly different from most sets as David only had a Rhodes (no Hammond organ) for this gig. The band went to Double Door for a midnight show after this was over and that show was recorded by the same taper. Not the most amazing board mix, but serves as a great document of my 1st KDTU show! Enjoy!!
