Stone Fox played that night with anoterh strong local support band (maybe? Screaming Bloody Mary's or Hockaloogie). I brought a cheapo Sony two-track deck and a Tascam Portaone as a mixer (the record deck in it had died). I tried to get a blend of my PXM mics and the soundboard for vocals but had massive volume surges from the soundboard inputs so it was a rough recording at first and up and down throughout. Fortunately, I brought an extra tape and told the soundboard man I needed a tape for the band if possible. I had intended to get the band a copy but at that time of my live, follow through was not my strength. I did trade with Aaron from Wig Torture because he came to my Haight St. flat and hung out while we traded some tapes. The soundbard is the highlight of the show, and is necessary to complete the show, as the fourtrack/two track tape ran out before the show was over. The complete soundbard is here, though most of it is blended onto the end of the audience version cd. The complete soundbard is also incomplete because the soundman started it late into the show. Sherman Loper- I got this show from Randy's CD after he had transfered the two tapes, mixed them together and burned a cdr(0). I used EAC to extract, then Sound Forge 5 to split track 5 of the show. Although the recording isn't the best the performance is a great out of town show. Includes an early arrangement of Rock Star.
