A bad microphone cable on Jay's microphone caused the band to stop playing during Dancing Virginia. They left the stage because a sound tech from the theater was "crawling" on stage trying to change the cable. It would seem that Jay wasn't too pleased and decided to open up about it during Opium. Still one of my favorite variations of Opium. This is one of the few shows I recorded direct to CDR. I used a Mackie Mixer as a preamp for a pair of Shure SM57 style microphones. The CDR was ripped and sliced up in a software package, no other changes happened. Because this was recorded direct to CDR, there is a delay in the process when changing discs so a the beginning of Smiling Down was cut out.
