James Brown Dance Party headlined the Mile High Spirits Main Stage. Cory Henry and the Funk Apostles were originally billed to play the festival but had to back out around a month beforehand and was replaced with James Brown Dance Party. [1] The sound system cut-out during "Get Up (I Feel Like Being A) Sex Machine" for a brief period Taper Notes: DFC ORTF mics raised around 7' in front of the soundboard. Normalized in post-production. As stated in the show notes, during "Sex Machine" the sound system cut-out so I raised normalized the volume during the brief period when that happened since you could still somewhat hear the music coming through the artist monitors. There is also a slight buzzing during a portion of "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag" which was due to a low flying drone hovering near the mics.
