This one goes out to Winohead for all the nice doom torrents he has posted here! I discovered Iron Man in the mid 90's when I got the Black Night album and have been a huge fan ever since... well, not so much the newer stuff, but that's another story. I highly recommend any fan of Sabbath, or doom metal in general, to check Iron Man out. The 90's albums (at least the first two on Helhound Records) are out of print and hard to find these days, but re-issues are on the way. Included in this torrent is a rehearsal from February 1999 from the days of the Generation Void album with singer Dan Machalak, which for me is t-h-e voice for Iron Man. Also, included is a demo sampler from 1992 with original singer Rob Levey, who sang on the first album (Black Night). As their name suggests, Iron Man started out as a Black Sabbath cover band back in the 80's. This demo contains snippets of various Sabbath songs. According to Metal Archives there should be two recordings with the band prior to this one, but I've never seen them. Perhaps Iron Man manager Lucifer Burns has these in his collection and could be so kind to post them for us - or will they be included on the upcoming re-issues perhaps? I'd love to hear an unedited version with the complete songs of this 1992 demo as well. / Destructor
