Taper Notes:
View Notes-Because I had an audience recording (Sennheiser MKE 44-P > Sony TC-D5) of this show as well, I was able to patch some gaps with the audience source to create a more seamless listening experience. -First thirty seconds of "Spirituality", and then an eighteen second gap later in the song patched with the audience source. -Tape flip after "Ant Man". There was no audience overlap to patch here. -Tape change after "Lily In A". The audience source was able to be patched in the gap. -There is about a two second patch to the audience source at the very end of Set 2 while Maury is talking. -Tape flip after "Old Dan Tucker". The first 32 seconds of "Rasta Cyborg" are patched using the audience source. --- This recording is part of the Peter Schneider Hypnotic Clambake archive. The digitization of this archive was facilitated by Hypnotic Clambake's Maury Rosenberg. A few words about Pete from Maury: "Peter Schneider (the gentleman who taped these shows) was the quintessential music lover. He had a quietness about him and he was very soulful in his ways. Most of all he was a man of peace who found great joy in listening and recording live music. Hypnotic Clambake had no better fan than Pete and we all miss him greatly."

Taper Notes:
View Notes-The recording levels on this tape vary greatly. Side A of tape one starts very low in level and ends up equal to the right channel by the end of the side. I adjusted the level of the right channel over the course of the side so the stereo image remained centered throughout. There were other less extreme level fluctuations throughout the rest of the show which I did my best to smooth out. Despite these fixes some anomalies remain. -Because I had a soundboard recording of this show as well, I was able to patch three of the tape flips/changes with the soundboard source to create a more seamless listening experience. -Tape flip after "Ant Man". Some of the soundboard source was able to be patched in the gap. -Tape change after "Square Dance Messiah". The soundboard source was able to be patched in the gap. -Tape flip after "Rag Bag". The soundboard source was able to be patched in the gap. --- This recording is part of the Peter Schneider Hypnotic Clambake archive.
