Lineage:
WAV>Sound Studio 4.2>xACT 2.17b>FLAC
Taper Notes:
View Notes* Neil Diamond cover, sung by Jeff Garlin with Guster backing him # sung on stage by Scott Moorman, to his wife Donna $ The Band cover, performed entirely unamplified, around the piano, in honor of Levon Helm, who had died the night prior. All songs feature the Guster String Players - Charlene Huang on violin and April Guthrie on cello - except the request section and encore. They came back on stage to honor the request for "Rocketship", and also contributed vocals on "This Could All Be Yours". Mat Edgar opened the show, followed by an improv set by Jeff Garlin. Jeff's set ended with him singing "Solitary Man", backed by Guster. Guster then played seven songs with the Guster String Players, followed by a request section with Jeff but without Charlene and April, and ended with seven more songs with strings, plus the unamplified encore. Notes: - Mat Edgar brought out a birthday cake for Luke at the beginning of the request section. Jeff Garlin shoved it into Scott's face in the middle of "Mona Lisa". - "Window" was performed by Adam, Ryan and Charlene, entirely unamplified, at the requestor's seat in the front row of the balcony. Special thanks to Jesse Hurlburt for selling me his Microtrack II and shipping it to me so quickly, without which we would have had a nasty cut in the middle of "Homecoming King".
