View NotesMaster creation: AKG C1000s>Beyerdynamic MV-100>DA-P1>D8 by Dave Mallick [[email protected]] Taping rig provided by Brandon Smith SHNs were made: Tascam DA-20>Egosys Waveterminal U2A>shntool>WAV>SHNv3 [no DAE] by Dave Mallick [[email protected]] * with Ward Williams on cello (Jump, Little Children) ** with Kurt on upright bass (My Favorite Relative) # with Dan Myers on saxophone (From Good Homes) Notes: - d1t01: Traditional Halloween show where they 'dress up' as a different holiday. This year it was New Year's Eve 2000; the band descended from the rafters in futuristic chairs while the theme from "2001" played. - d1t09: The band dropped "Happy New Year" ping-pong balls from the ceiling. - d2t05: After Fa Fa the band counted down to "midnight" and then dropped balloons from the ceiling. Many pops throughout this and the next track. - d2t06: There was a "Y2K" power outage and the band played completely coustic, lit only by battery-powered flashlights.

Taper Notes:
View Notes* - the band descends onto the stage in futuristic chairs. ** - w/ Ward Williams of Jump Little Children on cello. *** - w/ Kurt from My Favourite Relative on electric bass. **** - w/ Kurt from My Favourite Relative on upright bass. ^ - 2,000 ping-pong balls are dropped on the crowd. ^^ - w/ Dan Myers from Good Holmes on saxophone. ^^^ - complete with ball drop, christmas lights, hundreds of balloons, and the PA system shutting off. ^^^^ - Due to Y2K, the band played the song acoustic, with Pasty, et al, shining flashlights on the band. A Little while into Mona Lisa I decided to turn the Lunatec's gain up, because it was inaudible, so you will hear clicks, which I have tried to smooth out, in the song. There has also been some digital amplification to the first portion of the track. I could have done a better job, but it's sort of rough trying to compensate for my poor-gain changes at the venue.
