Taper Notes:
View Notes* with unidentified guest vocalist This was pitch corrected back in 2014 but never shared. I Can't confirm the original source details. I think there are more generations than listed, but I liked this source the best. When the Tapers Section first started on Dead.net, I requested this show to Dave, and he posted a 30 minute section from Set Two. Oddly, it was in Mono. I used it to cross fade/repair some small cuts in between some songs. I included their 30 minute section as bonus track. - Michael Lestatkatt May 24, 2020

View Notes- The GD was booked for 4 nights, November 28 - December 1, 1966 - the three songs patched with Menke's tape are lesser quality, but the show is complete - "The Matrix seated about 100 people, tops, and served beer and pizza. Dancing was against the law, because of an archaic San Francisco ordnance involving "Dance Permits." As a result, fans went to the Matrix to sit and listen, so free-form blues jamming and other kinds of odd noodling was fine." - * with unidentified guest vocalist, possibly Paul Butterfield
