View NotesGreat show, Grace brought the house down like always. The crowd was quiet and still at times, but the band still persevered. This is her first proper solo tour featuring her solo band, The Magical Midnight Roadshow instead of the Nocturnals. Truth be told, there are 2 Nocturnals in the MMR, Benny Yurco & husband Matt Burr. I do not know why Grace has not been getting taped very much this year, but I highly recommend this download if you enjoy her new record, "Midnight". I know it has fallen on many deaf ears given her foray into contemporary pop, but I personally feel its a very strong effort and applaud her for trying new things. I would have loved to have heard "Hot To The Touch" or "The Miner" at the show, but the great thing about Grace is how she changes up her setlists. Perhaps next time.
