View NotesShow Notes: Bella Madre! Memorial Day Weekend was a good one this year. Lots of great bands and a fun time at Harmony Park. God Johnson had an early evening slot on the Side Stage and definitely brought it. This is one of their last shows indefinitely as they go on a hiatus of sorts (one possible exception later this summer) That vibe was in the music and you can feel it good. Very well played and every song went somewhere a little bit new, a little bit better and we all got the benefit. This is a SBD recording.. y'all may be aware that I'm a big fan of AUD. There is a certain coldness to it that you just can't get around with a straight board. That being said this is SBD crispy and pretty well mixed by the engineer as well so... (plus my pre-amp did an excellent job of down-leveling the extremely hot outputs of the board to something that my laptop could handle gracefully :) PS: This is the HEAVILY edited version. It is just short enough that with overburn you should be able to fit it onto a CD. Enjoy! -Nate
