We didn't have a pre-mixer and it was hard to pull enough guitar off the sbd so the mics were added to pick a little up from the PA. Thanks to Nate Anderson for over-the-phone "Name That GJ Tune" help on the setlist. THE STORY Fifteen minutes into GJ's set it was already a sweaty tent that was filled beyond capacity -- we even opened up the sides so people outside could hear better. It still puts a smile on my face two months later to remember how hard people were dancing and what great energy they were giving to the band. The originals in this nice long set were jammed out yet tight, and the covers... well, you'll hear for yourself, but I will say this: busting out Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion" takes a certain cojones factor that most bands wouldn't risk -- God Johnson has that factor in spades!
