View Notes* = Originally Recorded By The Rolling Stones. Joined on stage by Emerson Hart (Tonic) & Matthew Scannell (Verical Horizon). Verizon Horizon and Tonic opened the show. Great performance from the band but the audience was totally lame. The Rose is a seated amphitheater, and the only fans who decided to stand for the Gin Blossoms were in the pit (up front). Robin had to ask the crowd to get out of their seats!! I stood anyway, at this point I was so frustrated having to sit for both VH and Tonic, I said <i>"F IT"</i>. No one seemed to care about my blocking their view. I think they were all on their phones, anyway. Of course people did stand for the last few songs as they were all hits. The audio turned out pretty good (The Rose can be good to great depending on the sound engineer) and this would rank somewhere in between. Super cool to hear "Cheatin'" at this show. Did not expect that one. I did cut 3 mins from the encore to eliminate various conversations going on behind me.
